Why we started wemakeyoufit.com

As Beauty insiders working in the industry we have been watching with keen fascination the take up of male grooming but became really aware of the high expectations placed on men and the lack of impartial and straight forward advice. Women will share beauty tips with each other constantly…but most men are never going to share their grooming tips over a pint, so if you want to get impartial, straight forward advice then we are here to help. We use our experience honed over 10 years in the industry…slightly nerdy and obsessive, Simon has over 200 products on his bathroom shelf. We also test our products rigorously, not on male models but on real men, in real situations and we give them ratings based on ease of use, cost, how long they last and finally snogability….it is a hard job but ET’s up for it! As many of you know the male grooming industry is full of long words and false promises, we ask the questions you would and get to the point. Finally we have free stuff to give away a small bonus but a bit of fun after all the scrubbing.

I have worked in the beauty industry for 10 years, in a range of roles from writing, teaching, research and product development I am a beauty therapist... and have got my hands on lots of blokes faces... in a professional way obviously. Fave grooming moment learning how to give a real wet shave with a cut throat razor... not a success and very gory!
Most often found smelling men on the tube and looking at their pores!

Friends often joke that I was born into the grooming industry, and that my body weight is at least half product! Dedicated my career to marketing and promoting brands and products and has even developed a fascination with the science of cosmetics in the vain hope of finding a product that cures wrinkles and world peace. Fave grooming moment has to be ridding a friend of his unsightly razor rash which he’d been sporting since age 13!
